I Want It, I’ll Have It!

10 August 2008 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

If only I really could just declare that I want the Hermes Birkin in Black Porosus Croc or pink Ostrich and it would really appear in my hands. I have been lusting after the Hermes Birkin for quite some time, as is every woman in the world. It is the most coveted bag; women wait years to pay thousands of dollars for the Birkin. Whether the price tag is waay over your budget, you’re on that waiting list until God knows when, or if you just want to reminisce those craft-filled days of kindergarten, I have just the project for you.

Hermes’ has an adorable sister website, Les Ailes d’Hermes, where you can travel the world of Hermes. And there, I discovered the “I Want It, I’ll Have It!” project, where you can make your very own Hermes Kelly bag. This cute paper version of the classic bag is far from the real thing, but it still gives a sort of satisfaction that you have something Hermes in your posession. Choose from eight patterns, download, cut, fold, glue, and voila! 🙂

enjoy!

xoxo
