International Women’s Day

8 March 2014 • Kimberly • 2 Comments

feminism

Funny, isn’t it, how in order to be powerful or successful, women are told (or pushed) to be more “masculine,” to emulate “male” habits, behaviors, even dress. There’s no wrong in being a woman, no fault in being “feminine” and embracing femininity. (And besides—what is masculine/feminine anyway but binaries defined by patriarchy?)

Happy International Woman’s Day.
