Issa Vibe

Listen. I don’t work with fancy cameras, nor do I have a fancy photographer (or the desire to have one) to take more aesthetically pleasing photos to share. I’m not in the business of modeling and say what you will about a mirror selfie; I like the control, the ease, the reality behind it.

So, mind the poorly propped snaps and if you can, focus on the dress. (This I took in the green room right before popping on to Beauty iQ with Elise Ivy for our full-hour skincare show.) I know Diane von Furstenberg is the queen of the wrap, but this Issa London number has single-handedly beat the DVFs I’ve tried in the past with its fit. A find of the year, I’d say, in pristine condition and my size after months of casually stalking Issa on eBay and The RealReal. It ticks all the boxes: 100% silk, check; wrap style, check; interesting pattern, check; a robust “wrap” to tie in the front or back, check.

Anyway: that’s all there is for today. Nothing groundbreaking, nothing deep, except the urge to share this dress I’m head over heels for. Isn’t that the point of a blog, anyway? To show and tell?
