I’ve been so ridiculously behind with tags (I’d say a few months behind, now?). I love doing them, but I get so caught up with ideas for new posts that I put tags aside. So I do apologize profusely if I never did a tag of yours; I’ve forgotten who’s tagged me & whatnot. But here are the long-due ones :). Have fun – or not – reading, darlings! Tag #1

The ever edgy & chic Nina of Femme Rationale has tagged me a couple of times (sorry for not doing tag # 1 & # 2 earlier!). The first was that popular “go to the fourth folder of your pictures and select the fourth photo & explain it” tag.

I do apologize for the horrible photo quality; it was taken on a rather rainy night whilst my friends and I were rushing to meet the rest of our group (descending endless flights of slipper stairs simultaneously stuffing warm crepes to prevent them from getting soggy from the rain isn’t the best of circumstances!). It was the prettiest little place to dine; gorgeous, so warm, and so quaint! The food was absolutely delicious. I would like to add that it was my first time trying authentic Parisian escargots – and I loved it, surprisingly!

List 16 random facts about me. You can read more in depth here, at my FAQs page!

1. I’m a carb addict. I love all sorts of breads, and will not hesitate to reach for seconds from the adorable bread baskets at restaurants – but no butter, please!
2. I absolutely love pretty stationary – journals, cards, letters, post-its, the likes. My lovely accessory-designer-to-be friend gifted me with the most beautiful collection of sticky notes from Anthropologie, well aware that I jot down random spurts of ideas (now I can do it with style!).
3. I carry post-its in my purse. Along with a pen, of course.
4. I’m pretty confident in calling myself the Queen of Procrastination. I think this particular fact is self-explanatory.
5. I  Starbucks.
6. There is an ever growing makeup collection sitting on my vanity. I love looking at those little containers of gorgeous colors, but truthfully, I’ve only used, say, 20% of it?
7. I’m an Aries. It really does amuse me when I read descriptions of my horoscope – I am the perfect little Aries.
8. Toblerone is my absolute FAVORITE chocolate of all time. The pyramids are as close to heaven as I can get as of now. I actually just finished my secret stash (well, it just happens to be stored in a drawer under my desk). Buy me one of those heavy bars of goodness and I shall do as you please.
9. I would love to write a book or two one day, with the high hopes of getting it published. And have at least two other people, besides my mother and best friend, buy it!
10. I simply cannot get enough of black, leather boots. Ankle boots, flat boots, knee high, calf high…
11. My feet are ridiculously small. Size 5.5 on average, occasionally fitting size 6! Which makes hunting for shoes a bit difficult. Not that I mind – since it does serve as a good excuse to go out shopping more!
12. I love America’s Best Dance Crew.
13. Philosophical books are one of my favorite genres. Most find them boring, but I beg to differ!
14. Purple is my favorite color. But I only own two or three articles of clothing in that hue.
15. I really need to go shopping.
16. I love pretty little lingerie.

1. describe your personal style. This a bit of a tough one, considering that what I wear changes on a whim. On a general note, I’d like to say that I strive to achieve a sophisticated and classy look with basic tees or sweaters, skinny jeans, and a great pair of heels or boots. Yet my personal style constantly changes – it’s quite similar to the characteristics of a chameleon – as I’m inspired daily by the music I happen to listen to the night before, bloggers, or magazines. Oh – and it all depends on my mood too!
2. what are the staples in your wardrobe? Skinny jeans, black heels, black boots, black v-neck tee, white v-neck tee, and a couple of great sweaters. Cocktail rings, and a big bag!
3. what’s your signature look? The above. You can usually find me in a black top, silver necklace, medium wash skinny jeans, and black boots (in the fall/winter). With, of course, my much loved Balenciaga motorcycle in black and a large cocktail ring.
4. what inspires you? Music, definitely! If I’m listening to an excessive amount of hip-hop, I’ll dress in a brightly colored graphic tee and light wash denim (distressed, not destroyed!), throw on a tailored vest, and finish the look with ankle boots (not exactly hip-hoppish, persay) and big jewelry. Or I’ll opt for one of two hoodies I own and glam it up with a bow in my hair. You get the gist of it. Bloggers always inspire me too; Jaime of Jaime Wears Black is a huge inspiration! Now that I think of it, everything inspires me. The movies I watch, the places I go, etc. – everything influences me!
5. who is your fashion muse? Everything I come across!
6. favorite purchase of all time? This is a tough one! But I do think it comes down to this gorgeous cocktail ring I bought earlier last year. It’s quite the heavy ring; gold, and completely covered with Swarovski crystals and beautiful swirls of black enamel.
7. biggest splurge? Considering that the majority of my more expensive goodies are gifts or bought for me by the lovely parents, I would have to say that my biggest splurge (well, for me, since I do have a limited budget!) were a pair of Franco Sarto ankle boots. I haven’t yet worn them, but I do love them!
8. what’s your beauty routine? Wash my face with a peach facial cleanser (I love it!); stare in the mirror and wonder if I should bother straightening my hair or leaving it in its wavy state; if the waves are actually nice I’ll leave it be/if not, I straighten away (only I’m too lazy to spend more than five minutes on my hair so it’s never straight); one coat of chapstick (or whatever kind of lip balm I have on me); a lipgloss that matches my outfit. C’est fin! Oh, and I change my nail polish once a week!
9. what jewelry do you never take off? A thin, silver bangle with lovely etchings on it, a.k.a. the only bracelet that actually fits me.
10. what are you wishing for? The Miu Miu Vitello Lux with the bow detail, in that gorgeous light gray (alluminio!). It’s been years now!
11. what are your obsessions? Get ready for a long list, darlings! My ipod, music, toblerone chocolate, tights, black lace, nail polish, MAC, my phone, leather bags, Miu Miu bags, hot chocolate, Elle, Vogue Paris, Chanel, Gucci, Lanvin, window shopping online, lip gloss, Victoria’s Secret, perfume, Balenciaga Motorcycle bags, boots, ankle booties, the color black, leopard print, blogging, dancing, little black dresses, three-quarter length sweaters, basic tees, skinny jeans, oversize clutches, patent leather, gmail, cocktail rings, Michael Kors, Starbucks, bandage skirts, body con dresses. I think that’s a basic enough list!
