Je T’aime a Jamais

Last Valentine’s Day  post, I swear!

Yesterday upon arriving home I had to do a double take; I thought I had seen something small-ish out of the corner of my eye lying solitarily, but assumed it to be a failure in peripheral vision. Turns out my peripheral vision is in fact quite good; I did, in fact, see something! It was quite possibly the smallest package I have yet received; who knew I would ever find those UPS/Postal/etc. boxes adorable? But indeed I did, and it was, to my surprise and excitement, addressed to yours truly. Handwritten was my name and my address. On the back, in the same, neat handwriting was the sender: the ever so lovely and super sweet Cheyenne!

I proceeded to lock the front door hastily and run up to my room, taking care to not trip over my rather long (and soft!) ombre scarf (in magenta, of course, in honor of Valentine’s Day. Paired with pink pumps. I digress.) I fumbled just a bit when opening the little package (I blame my jittery excitement) to find an almost transparent cream envelope, with a burgundy colored card embellished with seed beads – I absolutely love beautiful cards, especially when the look is very organic and you can see its fibers! Dearest Cheyenne – you are such a great friend who spoils me with no reason!! ‘Tis unnecessary, darling!

I took great care in unwrapping such a delicate package.

I squealed. Magenta-colored wrapping paper, tied oh-so-elegantly with heart-patterned ribbon (what a fancy bow, Chey! It pained me to untie it!). And a bag of chocolates – a bit melted, but still quite majestic in its heart shape.

And Chey darling. Those chocolates rival that made by Toblerone. Even though they were a bit melted & stuck together, I took a bite, and I do believe I died and gone to heaven. A taste of blissful, milky chocolate with other flavors I have yet to determine. So. Good.

Two bottles of Chanel Nail Lacquer is overdoing it! Perfect for Valentine’s Day, I must admit, Barcelona Red (bright red with gold shimmer running through) and Madness (opaque burgundy) are such gorgeous colors. Classic, bold, and oh-so-lovely, these photos do not do these polishes justice at all. In fact, I’ve just applied Barcelona Red (inspired by Ms. Dunst!) and so pleased with it that I just paused typing for a second and admired it. Vain, I know.

I cannot say thank you enough, unless you wish me to sound like an unfixable broken record. Love you, Chey!

Featuring two kissable models (I prefer Fernando – he is quite the eye candy), you simply select three types of smooches (they’re sooo adorable!), and kiss away! The best part?
