“Je Veux, Je Veux, Je Veux!”

6 May 2009 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

—My Parisian alter ego, stamping her  p e t i t e , Blahnik-clad feet, hands balled in fists with the strap of a black Chanel 2.55. Oui, whining like a Dior-bib-wearing five year old.

danny-roberts-tee

So I kinda sorta want this tee.

Danny Roberts is one of my favorite artists, ever—so a tee-shirt collaboration with Borders & Frontier featuring The Girls With Glasses (Chanel, j’adore!) is simply an ingenious idea. It is too perfect to pass down. My Parisian alter-ego wears it with denim, cuffed shorts and black opaque tights, with little black booties and a fedora. Balenciaga City in hand. She also stomps around with that particular tee, lame leggings, and pumps. But you see, my alter-ego is quite the selfish one and refuses to share with me. So my only hope is for the Danny Roberts tee to wander into my open arms.

office-shoes

Yes, I am perfectly aware that it is near summer. Yet my love for  b l a c k , l e a t h e r  b o o t s  is season-less. A portion of my heart shall, forevermore, be dedicated to black boots of all sorts. Ankle booties, knee-highs, over-the-knee. Flat, heels, stilettos. So long as they are black and leather,  I shall be satisfied. I am currently addicted to browsing Office Shoes; I hereby declare it to be my new favorite shoe site. Simply on the basis that they have a wide selection of, well, black leather boots. The trinity I’ve collaged above are on my highly coveted list. Darn the economy. And my anorexic wallet—I blame the fact that I am a student.

Bisous,

La C.

I saw a couple of nice styles last time I entered a Office store (around a month ago)… but I was looking for flats, so I focused on them =)

I love your style of writing. “Anorexic wallet” is a great term that made me smile. I have a similar said wallet, though I’m in denial. Great picks, and I agree that you can pretty much always get away with wearing black leather boots. Checked out the shoe site, and I like the 360 degree action they provide. 🙂
