Who better to represent Phoebe Philo’s vision than the woman whose packing list exemplified the very meaning of restraint, austerity, and minimalism? Who but Didion, a touchstone of literary and cultural brilliance and style icon in her own right (effortlessly poised in front of her Corvette Stingray) to convey all that is Philo’s ethos?
