Home is wherever my Macbook is, said every Mac-using millennial, ever. And for the girl who seems to be out and about from 7 a.m. until well after midnight, home seems to be any place with free Wi-Fi and/or caffeine. Preferably both, but vagabonds can’t be choosers. If I had it my way, there would be Internet access everywhere I go, and a (cute) barista (baristo?) at my beck and call, but entitlement just isn’t my thing. I prefer to think of every day as an adventure: wherever will my Macbook and I get caffeinated next?
At the moment it seems to be Project Occupy Starbucks. One venti black coffee. sometimes spiced with a few dashes of cinnamon, per date with the Macbook Pro or book du jour. We’re getting pretty intimate, Mr. Macbook and I. I suppose the psychic was right in her predictions about a mysterious M coming into my life…
