Finally had an occasion to wear this incredible Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress, a plissé maxi in muted sage that skims every curve just so. (Something I never would’ve worn without shapewear a few years ago, but now embrace in L.A. of all places. Getting older, and hopefully wiser, is freeing.) Textural lines call for more linear layering, so the beloved Bottega intrecciato pouch it was—a bag just big enough to break up the full-length look.
Then, for a little more lift and elongation: simple, strappy Manolos. There was a time when I almost second-guessed the bronze leather, but I’ve since worn these heels countless times. Turns out this particular metallic leather is a chameleon, per color theory: a tad golden in some scenarios, and warm pewter in others (as was the case here) that complemented the soft green and my vintage silver earrings rather perfectly.
. . .

Thank you Miriam 🙂 Shoes are incredibly well-loved and very basic—they’re fully practical and doesn’t translate well in photos haha! x
