Diary of an Insomniac: Sleepy Body Lotion

Sleepy promises soothed senses and soft, supple skin, delivered in a tub of pale lavender cream. Mine had a swirl of silver shimmer gathered in the center; how celestial. How delightful. I, being a skin care professional of sorts, did the responsible thing and chose to use a clean spatula instead of my fingers to swirl the sparkly synthetic fluorphlogopite until it disappeared.

Sleepy is delicate in texture and fragrance, scented with with a comforting lavender and tonka blend and formulated with almond oil, jojoba oil, oat milk, and organic cocoa butter. It’s decadent yet so lightweight it melts into skin without a trace—only leaving behind smooth, nourished skin that begs to be touched. Already you’re coaxed to slip between the sheets.

The question now is: will this insomniac sleep tonight?
