Lust of the Week

20 April 2009 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

colette-valentino-black-studded-handbagWhere  f e m i n i n i t y  meets  r o c k.

Proof that studs are not synonymous to punk or rock-chic.

Oh so  p e r f e c t. In detail, silhouette, and size.

Valentino, from Colette.

Please find your way into my arms.

They’re welcoming and would gladly adopt you.

Bisous,

La C.

C’est vraiment un sac tres chic! Meme-si c’est un sac basique, il y a beaucoup de beaux traits qu’on ne peut pas ignorer!

I had a momentary burst of French (which is probably teeming withg errors), which is testament, yet again, to our blogtwinhood. I know how you love French, so do I (:

What a great combination of black, leather, flowery shapes and studs! It could go so many ways – a morning coffee run before the office, a casual afternoon of shopping, a Friday night out with the girls…and so much more.

    Tres jolie! (:

oh, how beautiful. i’d want it sitting in my home as art rather than on my arm. the studs remind of these little shiny silver sprinkles i used to use on ice cream as a child – tough looking at first glance, but so sweet in context.

It’s freakin’ gorgeus! The studs really made it work with the rock theme over the sensibility of the flower.

I’m really starting to get into ruffle this year. Okay I like that bag minus the studs. Just think that in another 2 years….. biker chic will fade to black and I don’t want to be stuck with a lot of over emblemished items. I do like the ruffle detail so I’m hoping I can find something similar. Cute bag though

oh love love the contrast between rose/blossom and studs. i can just imagine how amazing this would look with something flirty and light, like a floral chiffon spring dress paired with something like tough gladiator sandals.

i’d also like to add that my arms are welcoming too 😉
