Obama!

20 January 2009 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

For once, I can think of no words to express the ecstatic joy & rush of excitement and nervousness as I watched the Inauguration of our new president, Barack Obama.

obama2

But can I just add that Michelle Obama (as uaual) looked absolutely STUNNING in her Isabel Toledo ensemble? And the little Obamas too – such beautiful little girls.

xoxo,

La C.

P.S. Thank you so much Miriam for passing me with this award, along with the sweetest description: “There’s not much I can say about her, she’s the one who dominates words, her way of writing is excelse and her posts get better every single day.”! You are the sweetest!

3rd-award-from-huirachel

P.P.S. I would love someone to look at me like that 🙂

Yes, they r amazing! I luv how she pulled off that outfit. Most women would not think of putting together an outfit, with different shades of the SAME color. But she did it beautifully. I’d like to do that with pink!!!! 🙂

Isabela: i know! i love how for them, family comes first :). so much attention is given to the two daughters even throughout the chaos of the campaign. as cheesy as it may sound, it really melts my heart seeing how strong family remains and how this indefinite love is felt. even on stage; barack & michelle have this connection of love i think most couples long for but have not yet found.

    love is a beautiful thing.

& one thing i love about michelle and barack is that they seem so in love! most presidential couples don’t looked that lovey dovey. and it’s not over the top affective m & b have…it’s normal affection! they’re normal, and that’s awesome.

I am sorry, La C! I have not been on here in so long! And I have missed so much that has gone on here. Sigh. 🙁

But how nice, the first thing I see after not being here in so long is the joy you feel in all aspects about the new president and his wonderful family. I can feel you radiate! And it’s such a joy to read your posts about the new president. And I have to agree, I love what the the Obama daughters wore. Such sweet lovely things. 🙂
