So I decided to wait a while before I announced this to the world. Long story short: I had received an internship from the editor-in-chief of new magazine Dujour after she stumbled upon my blog. Mind you, I’m still giddy with joy & disbelief!! It’s simply one step closer to my dream; it seemes so surreal still! I currently write articles for the site, covering fashion, shopping, and celebrity style. Check it out at dujourmag.com!
Dujour Magazine, started rather recently by Letitia Burrell (my lovely boss) is a new magazine (you can purchase its debut issue on the site!) And what separates them from every other fashion magazine out there? “We are the new definitive voice for international emerging fashion and eco-friendly style. Born in response to excessive celebrity coverage, flailing irrelevant content, and elitist inaccessible features, Dujour is America’s first independent, internationally distributed, eco-friendly fashion publication dedicated exclusively to emerging designers. 10 and11 . Most of the stuff I buy, both cloth and make up is not tested on animals and I don’t wear fur and try to limit buying leather to shoes and only a few purses. I am really against fur/leather.
