I’m making a concerted effort to document more of my outfits, a frail attempt to justify my shopping predilection. (This comes hot off the heels of starting a deep spring cleaning session. Few things have been donated and instead, new IKEA Malm dressers were purchased and Task Rabbit-ed together in a hasty attempt to find space for all the pieces I’ve managed to collect since first moving to L.A. I’m not proud of the overconsumption, but I suppose there’s something to be said about cherishing everything, too?)
And yet—here I am, with the same Djerf Avenue suit I always turn to when I’m at a loss for what to wear. Buttoned up, it was just polished enough for a quick stop at a press party. Opened up, the menswear silhouette was oversized enough to justify lingerie as outerwear by way of a little juxtaposition. (Balance is key after all.) Under the arm: my favorite Bottega to tie in the nude satin and break up all the black. A couple spritzes of L’Orchestre Piano Santal to finish.
In hindsight, I was perhaps a little too dressed up for dinner at Cara Cara—but what else is new?
. . .

Love that you are documenting.
May I be the recipient of the donation clothes please thanks! 😂
