Roe v. Wade: What You Can Do

4 July 2022 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

new york magazine abortion help roe v wade

The irony of returning to this blog on the Fourth isn’t lost on me. Since the reversal of Roe v. Wade, I’ve had so many thoughts but none of the right words—the worst possible combination when you’re in a (literal) state of privilege.

What makes it worse is that I’ve resorted to burying my head into a new pile of books (including ones like Eve’s Herbs: A History of Contraception and Abortion in the West) because I’m not sure what else outside of donations would have an immediate, valuable impact. Again: another privilege afforded simply because I’m in California and not a red state.

While I gather and learn what I can, The Slow Factory’s Roe v. Wade: What You Can Do has been my go-to doc for reliable information and resources. This compilation is I hope you’ll find this helpful, too.
