Tag, You’re It!

14 October 2008 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

I’ve been tagged (it is rather exciting, as all firsts are!) by the lovely Nicole of Chestnut Orange. The rules are simple: 1) link the person who tagged you! 2) mention the rules on your blog 3) tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours 4) tag 6 bloggers to show some love!

So here goes:

  1. I despise sneakers. I have no idea why! Perhaps I see them as sloppy; don’t get me wrong, however. I won’t judge you love them – I personally just refuse to wear them. I avoid sneakers at all times unless the consequences involve a deduction of give or take 10 points from my grade in gym. Or if it’s for dance team, since we are required to wear dance sneakers at football games (these don’t technically count as sneakers…they’re dance shoes 🙂 ).
  2. Getting packages/surprises in the mail make me so happy! E-mails too! =)
  3. I doubt this is a quirk, but I am the biggest procrastinator when it comes to homework. But i do get it done! (I actually have a rather large load tonight…but I haven’t yet begun.)
  4. I think I’m a borderline organizational freak. I cannot live without my planner, and yes, I do make lists. To do lists, shopping lists, idea lists…the list goes on.
  5. I want to be best friends with Alexander Wang. He just seems like the coolest person ever! If I were Erin Wasson, I would dance my way down the runway with him to “Walk it Out.” Well, I do that anyway, runway or streets. 😉
  6. One of my biggest pet peeves are people who are narrow minded. I just can’t stand it at all. Period.

That’s all there is! I tag… Fashion Chalet, Rumi of Fashion Toast, Heart of Pearl, Marta of With Love… , & last but not least, & Qin at the Disco!

Currently Want…

Runway to Change, by Alexander Wang, $45

I love Obama’s new line of clothing in the Obamastore: Runway to Change, featuring designers in a new collection of clothing. I must admit that I am a rather passionate supporter of Mr. Obama (as well as a loyal reader of his books). Thus speaking, if you are an Obama fan, show your support and check out the store (and no, I am not advertising on behalf of him; if I was, I would be much honored.)

I love this tee; the fit, the looseness, and the graphic print across the chest. Perhaps it is because I am an Alexander Wang obssessed girl; but nonetheless, and AW shirt for $45? And shows political involvement? Even better. But I love the versatilit of this tee. Right now I’m picturing it with dark skinny jeans, a pair of black ankle booties or strappy heels, and finished with either a blazer or a cropped leather jacket. I am actually pining for this shirt; perhaps I’ll order it!

xoxo.

I’m the same way about tennis shoes. There are SO many cute shoes out there. Why wear gym shoes if you’re not going to the gym?

omg i agree with the sneakers. unless its for tennis, i dont like wearing them. i bought a pair of grey converses, uhh i’ve worn them maybe twice.

we obviously have our list making highlight finishing organization in common!

that shirt is very cute. ..AW, of course. haha.

er speaking of procrastination, i should be painting my 3d project, finalizing my eng essay, redoing my bag patterns, completing another bag sketch, and studying for my leather midterm..

yep I share your sneaker aversion, they just make me look bleh. Plus I am not what you call an “excercise” person so really, who are we kidding.

I remember Wham! with George Michael back in the 80s they kinda made those T-shirts popular, now I see someone has resurrected them.

i just ordered that aw x obama shirt and i’m really anticipating it! 45 is such a great price. i also thought that this shirt was the most true to the designer’s “look” i felt like the other ones were a bit generic looking..i’m looking forward to wearing it everywhere. hurray for political involvement.
