I suppose introductions are necessary. I used to blog at La Couturier under the guise of anonymity, and am finally (!) ready to shed the pen name. Since I pride myself in being a lady and would rather not be rude, I shall abide by the rules of etiquette and properly introduce myself. Ahem.

Hellooo! I’m Kim.

I’m girl with a caffeine addiction who loves a lot of things, but doesn’t quite believe in love just yet. I’m not particularly fashion-forward, but what people would call stylish. I don’t—can’t—love fashion. I’m simply a fashion enthusiast, freelance writer, and blogger living in the oh-so-glamorous suburbia of New Jersey. I’ve had two internships for fashion magazines under my (first-degree black) belt, and though I may write (a lot) about fashion, but I’m hardly an expert. What I do know, though, is what I take from my experiences.

So it is here where I present my take on fashion and my perspective on life, love, and style. These are my dreams, my aspirations, my experiences, my self, hoping to inspire some way or another. I can’t guarantee a cure for happiness or living a more fabulous life, but I can guide you along the way, from the material to the intangible.

Almost always in heels & armed with the largest possible coffee in one hand, journal in the other, there’s a 95% chance you’ll catch me dancing somewhere. Eighteen. Single, living, loving, and learning.

I believe in living coquettishly & flirting with life.
