travel beauty makeup essentials

Spotted at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History: The Human Genome Babe.

Pretty rocks…

… and more pretty rocks, from my favorite exhibit.

acqua al 2 washington dc review

unch at Acqua Al 2 with the girls before exploring the Eastern Markets.

acqua al 2 washington dc lunch salad

Nothing like a bed of arugula with shaved parmigiano reggiano and pear. Not pictured: the freshly-baked bread consumed, seemingly, by the loaf.

A bookworm’s idea of heaven.
