• Shoulder pads and a nipped waist on a blazer—oversized, but not so large it swallows you whole
• Practical footwear—namely, square-toe heeled sandals; 3.5-inch slingbacks; kitten heels; and flip-flops
• Portfolio clutches for day to hold just the essentials: a journal, book, pen, lip gloss with SPF, and lip liner of the day
