Happy Valentine’s Day!

14 February 2012 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

I get the whole corporate-ness and superficiality of it all—I do. But I can’t help but say I love Valentine’s Day, single or not, down to the unexpected texts and hearts-sprinkled cupcakes.

Live a little, love a little, and if you’ve always been more of an independent introvert, use this holiday as the petit push you needed to tell not just someone else—friends, family, a lover, a crush—but yourself, too, “I love you.”

Think it. Believe it. And say it, out loud.

I love Valentine’s Day as well! I love how you think of it as an excuse to be a little more daring and (at the risk of sounding cliche) spread more love around 🙂

I’m a sucker for Valentine’s Day as well! And so true, I’ve always used it to tell my friends how much I love them!

[…] February is a lot of things. Sixty-something degree weather one year, and bitter cold the next (hellooo, Nemo!). It’s the start of spring semester, Black History Month, and of course, Valentine’s Day. […]
