Inspiration du Jour: Natalia Vodianova

1 November 2012 • Kimberly • Leave a Comment

The gorgeous Lindley Arnoldy’s Givenchy’s.

How beautiful is Natalia Vodianova?! She’s always radiant.

This snap from Paris Fashion Week last year basically sums up the woman I’d like be; it’s amazing how clothing carries a person, and how that individual carries the clothes. In a palette of navy—monochromatic dressing never fails to look chic and elongate the body—is a great coat and a turtleneck tucked into well-tailored, ankle-length pants. Imagine this classic combination in every neutral: beige, camel, creamy whites, black? This is a uniform in the making.

Those shoes! I’m partial to the belief that Givenchy makes the most kick-ass heels; these babies, along with the hoop earrings, throw in the right amount of edge and sex appeal to an otherwise demure outfit.

And the structured black bag just makes it.

Ask for a tour of my closet in just a few years and variations of this look are all you’ll see on rotation for fall/winter.
