Goggling, drooling, lusting, and pining involved. I hardly exaggerate either; I’ve fallen in love with the ring ever since seeing in Elle a few years back, casually placed with a tiny description in one of its features. A glorious ring to behold, a fierce feline of integrity, strength, aggressiveness, and pride—all the things a ring should be and tell about the woman wearing it. I’ve once ventured into a Cartier boutique on the Champs–Elysées avenue in Paris with the intention of seeing the ring of my dreams and the Marcello bag, but left only with a glimpse of the Marcello on a mahogany shelf. Truth is, I feared two things: (1) my stuttering attempts at French would leave the vendeur quite at my butchering of the language and (2) If I had a glimpse of the ring in real life, I would die right then and there at its geometric beauty and green eyes. Oh Lord.
Arm Candy of the Moment
I was absolutely delighted and quite excited when Lillian, from One Language, emailed me & sent over the canvas bag I’ve been coveting: the one with “Haute” written rather boldly across the front. Perfection, as I’d imagined, in a canvas bag. Huge, with multiple compartments. I can, of course, vouch for its durability and well-constructed design. Definitely one that I shall use for quite some time! And definitely quite the arm candy; I do love toting it about, and having strangers eye it covetously (or simply in wonderment as to what haute means!).

Or maybe just the boys (as I wink coquettishly). I’ve finally had some time to actually watch the show, starting from the first season. Not quite done yet, but I do covet Blair and Serena’s closet. And oh, to see the trio of beautiful boys. Le sigh. Oh, and I loved Terry Richardson’s photographs of the cast.

how was the weekend so far?
Gossip Girl has just strated here on TV, first season. I’ve missed some episodes – but in my opinion the style is the most adorable since Sex and the City. I’ve missed a great show on TV playing in Manhattan since a lot of shows are based on the West Coast. I’m searching for a dress Blake Lively has worn but don’t know the designer. I was only able to find a picture…. :-S

I just started watching Gossip Girl too! I’ve reached the beginning of season 2, and is too much in love with Blair’s wardrobe and hair for my own good. Her hair is simply too perfect. *sigh* Oh, well – at least I know there are more of us “droolers” out there, which is a small comfort 😉
PS. Forgotten – The pictures are great, great, great! So much fun!!!!
I remember when the ring came out and every enviable celeb fashionista had it.. Made me want it even more!
The bag definitely is haute, classic and yet makes a bold statement.
Gossip Girl I can’t get enough.
I bought the 1st season on DVD and of course I had to spread the love to my gay best friend. He doesnt have cable and I am guessing he was tired of me going on and on about the show he decided to finally watch the show so I let him borrow it and now he’s hooked!
P. S. I have major hair envy, Blair and Serena’s hair is too perfect!

That ring is incredible and that bag is fabulous!
The ring is amazing.. and can double as a weapon. 🙂 That’s how I view some of my large rings. That’s a fab bag. Lucky girl! And love the pics of the GG cast. I never got into it and it’s hard to try and watch an episode now when I have no idea what’s going on. All my friends say that I’ll love it though. One of these days I’m going to have to get the DVDs and start from the first season too. 🙂

That ring is simply crazy, so futuristic yet jungle hugging. I’ve yet to catch up on Gossip girl since I don’t have TV, but really, that photoshoot is gorgeous, hair and all.
I´ve seen these pics before…but i can´t remember. I still think Blake Lively is the most beautiful girl in Hollywood.
